On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, ANSSA, represented by Temiyemi Oguntunde, joined other representatives of African student associations for a courtesy visit to the Deputy Minister of Interior, Dr. Mehmet Cangir.
The delegation also met with the Head of the Department of the General Directorate of International Protection, Directorate General of Migration Management, Ministry of Interior, Mr. Fatih Ofluoğlu.
The meeting provided an opportunity to establish direct communication and discuss issues affecting African students, particularly residence permit matters and the additional one-year residence permit provision for students who have graduated.
As ANSSA, we remain committed to engaging with relevant authorities for the welfare and interests of Nigerian students.
