On April 9th, 2025, the Association of Nigerian Scholarship Students in Ankara (ANSSA) paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Babatunde A. Ahonsi, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Türkiye.

This visit was a significant step in strengthening our engagement with international institutions and amplifying the voice of Nigerian students in global development conversations.

Dr. Ahonsi shared powerful insights on youth leadership, diaspora engagement, and the importance of remaining committed to values that build peace, discipline, and excellence. His words not only inspired us; but renewed our hope as young Nigerians striving to make meaningful contributions in Türkiye and beyond.

We are grateful for the warm welcome, and we look forward to future collaborations between ANSSA and the UN system in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
